We were delighted to welcome DLR Lexicon Staff as well as Siobhan Ni Gaoithin & Sandra Kelly from the DLRCOCO Age-Friendly Programme to Ailt an Oir today to do an information session with our residents & day service users.
It was a fantastic session where we heard about the services which the Lexicon provide as well as information on age friendly events in the area. Laura from Cliffrun Media also spoke about the user-friendly Acorn Tablet which is available to rent from the DLCOCO libraries in the area.
After a quick Q & A library staff stayed on to help with any queries and some residents also got new library cards enabling them to access services provided in the area. Overall, everyone enjoyed the talk and Siobhan very kindly offered to come back again in the future with more relevant information for our residents & day centre users. A big thank you to the DLRCOCO libraries Department!
