 Friends of DCM
The friends of DCM is a fund that we take donations into to support our services. The friends fund is used for the enhancement of our residents lives in Older Persons and to support Social Action Projects as required. The fund is managed by our Finance & Audit Committee.

Complaints
We strive to provide the highest level of care and support for all our residents and service users. We welcome feedback and encourage our service users to bring any perceived problem to our attention as soon as possible. All complaints will be taken seriously and investigated promptly to the best of our ability. All complaints will be treated in strictest confidence in accordance with our complaints procedures. You will be kept updated and informed of the outcome.

The first course of action is to address the relevant persons below:

  • Margaretholme & Ailt an Oir Independent Living, Paul Lee, Manager
  • Abbey Social Action Centre – Ms. Pilar Taylor, Centre Manager

Should you or someone on your behalf wish to make a complaint in writing, then it should be addressed directly to the named person above. All relevant postal addresses can be found on our contacts section.

At all stages in this process, the complaint and all aspects of the investigation will be documented and kept on file, to demonstrate that due process has been followed. This will be kept confidential, except to the extent necessary for the purposes of inspection and regulation by the HIQA and/or HSE.
