The Ailt An Óir Day Service was launched in 2022 to enhance community engagement and runs in conjunction with the HSE.
We take referrals from both residents of Ailt an Oir and the local community and encourage people who are thinking of an independent living model for their future to start by engaging with our day service.

The programme runs from Tuesday to Friday each week with a variety of activities to be enjoyed by all. These include board games, arts and crafts, garden projects, exercise classes, guest speakers, IT / technology assistance, music, bowling, knitting, book clubs, cookery workshops and much more. Clients of the day service also get to enjoy regular events at Ailt an Oir and outings throughout the year.
Our day service is a vital part of supporting independent living for the older person. We cater to those who would like additional social interaction, meaningful engagement and nutritional support.
